Milled Peat Harvester
The harvester has been designed with High Output, manosuverability, ease of use and minimal maintenance as the primary goals. Outputs of 1 200m3/h are easily achievable with sufficient trailers available to haul to stockpiling areas Manouverability is achieved by having both sets of tracks travelling almost in line with the tractor wheels. The use of the extendable drawbar which transfers no weight on to the tractor facilitates very tight turning circles. The ease of use is enhanced by the fact that there are only three hydraulic connections. The operator can see all parts of the harvester easily from the tractor seat Minimal maintenance has been achleved by the use of high grade steel, top of the range bearings and chains in the manufacturing process, All have been over specified for the loads they are working under. Maintenance during the harvesting season will take less than 5 minutes per day.
